Silver tableware
The Russkiye samotsvety Corporation has produced silver tableware since 1997. After winning the right to be an official supplier with silver tableware for the Government of Russia, our company did a great work to study the articles, manufactured in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for the Сourt of His Imperial Majesty, which are now kept in the State Hermitage. It resulted in taking the works of Faberge firm as a basis – very difficult in producing and having the highest esthetical and ergonomic characteristics. At present the set of silver tableware amounts about 30 pieces and the number continually increases. The sets of tableware made by our company adorn tables of the Moscow Kremlin, the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strel’na, and are bought by firms and individual customers. In 2005 the company also completed a special order for the Government of Kazakhstan. For consumers we designed the set Classical, which can be decorated with a personalized monogram to turn the silverware into a family relic, and the number of articles for children and their parents. In spite of the fact that the processes of silverware productions are mostly mechanized, some operations are made with hand tools by high-skilled specialists: engraving, pressing, mounting and soldering. Polishing is the final operation, and its aim is to bring items to perfect mirror lustre and to make them genuine objects d’art.
